Somerset NJ Real Estate is much like real estate in any large town.  Somerset NJ is also known as Franklin Township which is a part of Somerset County.  Somerset NJ is 46 Square miles and located near the Raritan River with population around 62,300 in 2010.  In 2008, Money Magazine listed Somerset/Franklin Township as the #5 Best Places to Live!

There are a lot of great places in Somerset NJ to take advantage of when you live here.  My favorite is Colonial Park.  With dog parks, golf, swing sets, walking paths, & paddleboats it’s fun for the whole family! Somerset also offers great shopping, entertainment & it’s close to all major highways.  Some of the major highways that Somerset is close to are 287, RT 27, RT 1, RT 18, NJ Turnpike & about 15 miles from the New Jersey Parkway.  It’s one of my favorite locations!

Somerset NJ Real Estate  right now is a buyer’s market and there are a lot of properties currently on the market.  The market has declined over the past years but within a few years the market will change like it always will and it will start to balance out and the market will increase since population has increased and people want to live in Somerset.  There are still a lot of new families moving into Somerset & a lot of new developments being built since Somerset is such a great town.
